Thermal imaging is playing a huge part in the monitoring of renewable hardware from wind turbines to solar panels and how they interface with electrical and mechanical elements. There is little doubt that thermal imaging plays a strong part in the of reduction of breakdowns and failures in the power generation industry and beyond.
Solar panels and wind turbines have been around some considerable time and both require maintenance and performance monitoring. The people undertaking this work rely heavily on Thermal Imaging to allow comprehensive analysis of the performance of the equipment. This is now spreading to quick diagnosis and fault finding in EV vehicles and beyond, and the list of environmental uses is rapidly expanding.
